The Portland Development Commission, after reviewing over 240 entries, has announced 6 winners of the Startup PDX:Challenge. Applicants were judged by local investor and startup communities, including the Portland Seed Fund, the Portland Incubator Experiment, Rogue Venture Partners and Voyager Capital.
Part of the judging included a public vote to help evaluate applicants. Results were considered by the official judges, garnering grants for the top three winners of the public vote.

ActivEd: Educational technology
Alum.ni: Online alumni communities.
ClutchPlay Games: Mobile games.
CoPatient: Technology for identifying billing errors and tools for patients to negotiate medical debt.
OnTheGo Platforms: Software for “smart glasses.”
Safi Water Technology: Products to provide clean drinking water.
