Oregon’s minimum wage increase for this year will go into effect July 1, 2016. All employers will need to comply with the new wage rates and make sure to have the updated poster up in a conspicuous location.

As most are already aware, Oregon is the first state to introduce a minimum wage increase unlike any other with a multi-tiered system. The first increase will raise the Standard and Portland Metro to $9.75 per hour, and Nonurban Counties to $9.50 per hour.
