DOL delays parts of fiduciary rule

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has extended the effective date for “prohibited transaction exemptions” to the retirement plan fiduciary rule to July 1, 2019. The exemptions are related to how fiduciaries are paid for investment advice to retirement plan participants.
