Several amendments to Oregon’s Paid Sick Leave law were enacted on July 1, 2017 and will take effect on January 1, 2018. Recently signed by Governor Kate Brown, the bill makes some clarifications and modifications to the current law which took effect the same time last year. Changes included language clarifying details surrounding the “accrual” method of calculating time for employees as well as other key changes.
