FMLA forms expiration date extended

The updated FMLA forms have no new changes, except for an extended expiration date of August 31, 2021.

House to vote on 40-hour workweek for ACA coverage

This upcoming House vote is good news for employers who are interested in seeing the definition of a full-time worker go from 30 hours a week to the traditional 40-hour mark. The bill would also include suspending the ACA’s employer mandate, delaying the “Cadillac tax”, and modifying ACA reporting requirements.

NY releases model sexual harassment policy and training

New York state has launched their official website regarding the new laws addressing sexual harassment in the workplace. The site includes a model policy, complaint form, and annual sexual harassment prevention training.
