Preparing for the Oregon Equal Pay Act
As of January 1, 2019, the majority of the Oregon Equal Pay Act’s provisions will be in effect. The law is quite extensive in its requirements aimed at preventing employers from conducting inequitable pay practices for employees in protected classes.
While many employers may believe their practices are equitable, the Oregon Equal Pay Act introduces a degree of complexity and risk that relies on a robust process for identifying work of comparable character and assessing pay equity.
This webinar will inform attendees on key aspects of the law, timelines for provisions, and steps employers should be taking to comply with the Oregon Equal Pay Act and ensure pay practices support ongoing compliance.
