Start switching over to the updated Form I-9 with the revision date of October 21, 2019. Beginning on May 01, 2020, employers must be using the new Form I-9 for all employees. We recommend that employers start using the new form now for all new hires.

The new salary minimums for exempt status under the FLSA have gone into effect. Furnish 1095-C Schedules for 2019 and distribute ACA Form 1095 to Employees

Complete and submit ACA information to both the IRS and your employees. There are three deadlines, starting on February 28 through the end of March, that you should be aware of:

  • February 28, 2020 – Deadline to file 1091-C / 1095-C schedules for 2019 if paper filing
  • March 02, 2020 – IRS deadline to furnish 1095-C schedules for 2019 to employees
  • March 31, 2020 – Deadline to file 1094-C / 1095-C schedules for 2019 if electronic filing
