Webinar: Complying with Multi-State Policy and Training Requirements: Creating a culture of respect in the workplace

Now more than ever, employers are faced with combating workplace conflict and potential harassment complaints in the office, with remote work, or hybrid work transitions. Many states are passing specific laws impacting what must be included in anti-harassment policies and annual training requirements. Not properly addressing employee complaints or missteps in the investigation process can cause significant damage to your business. Not only is harassment illegal, but legal claims and lawsuits are also extremely costly.

Embracing a culture of respect reduces employee turnover and increases retention, employee morale, and productivity. This session will discuss an employer’s obligations, what must be included in state-specific policies and training, best practices for investigating complaints, and steps to establish a workplace culture of trust and respect.

After completing this course, the learner will:

  • Learn what anti-harassment policy and training requirements are by state
  • Understand the current anti-harassment climate as well as the EEOC’s current statistics on claims and lawsuits
  • Understand best practices for handling employee complaints
  • Discover what employers and leadership can do to drive a culture of respect
  • Understand how to equip your employees to contribute to a respectful workplace
