Webinar: How to handle ADA accommodations in the workplace
ADA and religious accommodations are not anything new to the savvy HR professional. Even though we are through the pandemic, we’ve seen an uptick in ADA and religious accommodation requests. Employers must be vigilant to recognize they must provide reasonable accommodations to employees who may have a medical disability or a sincerely held religious belief that interferes with the ability to perform the essential functions of their job.
The accommodation process is extremely complicated, and the legal guidelines are very broad. This can put employers at risk as many are generally unfamiliar with how to administer the process correctly. This session will discuss the ADA and religious accommodation process, including best practices and recognizing red flags.
