Webinar: How to Manage Multi-State Payroll, Benefits, and Leave Administration 

 

Many employers have employees located in various states, whether the employees are working remotely or in another location or have physical locations spread throughout multiple states. Having employees in numerous states can impact many areas, including payroll taxes, benefits, leaves of absence, organizational culture, performance management, HR compliance, among many other things.

This webinar will help attendees prepare to identify employment policies and practices that are impacted by having employees working in various states.

After completing this course, the learner will:


  • Learn trends in transitioning to a remote workforce and how they impact employer policies and HR practices.
  • Review state-specific considerations with a remote workforce, including payroll taxes, final paycheck requirements, employee benefits offerings and network considerations, and HR compliance, including leaves of absence, paid sick leave laws, etc.
  • Learn best practices for administering payroll and employee benefits in a multi-state environment including new employee onboarding, benefit life changes, paid time off accruals and payroll tracking, and employee separations
