Webinar: Pay equity, pay transparency, and disclosing pay ranges in 2023


While pay equity may have slid down the priority list in 2022, the past year’s legal and social climate has magnified its importance even more. This course will provide a roadmap for pay transparency – where it came from and where we are today and also update learners on state-specific requirements to post pay ranges in job postings.

This course will also explore the current legal landscape, address equity considerations, and emphasize the importance of equipping recruiters, managers, and leaders to embrace a new approach to compensation’s role in the workplace.

After completing this course, the learner will:

  • Understand the fundamentals and spirit of pay transparency laws
  • Understand the differences between federal and state-specific pay equity mandates and learn how to comply with a variety of pay equity laws
  • Review all state and local-specific requirements for posting pay ranges in job postings
  • Identify considerations for maintaining pay transparency compliance with a distributed or remote workforce
  • Implement strategies for increasing pay transparency

As the Manager of HR Services for Trüpp, Derek leads the HR Services team providing HR Outsourcing Services to Trüpp’s clients. Derek is a US Army veteran and former Chief Human Resources Officer that holds a Master’s degree in both Organizational Leadership and Business Administration from Quinnipiac University.
