This learning path is composed of two courses.
Course 1: Eliminating Discrimination & Harassment in the Workplace
This course addresses concepts of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in the workplace. The content is focused on contributing to a respectful workplace, self-awareness, what to do if you’re a victim or witness of discrimination or harassment, and how to respond if you engage in or are accused of such behavior.
Course 2: Supervisor – Eliminating Discrimination & Harassment in the Workplace
Learners must complete Eliminating Discrimination & Harassment in the Workplace before taking the supervisor course. This course addresses the specific duties and responsibilities of a supervisor in preventing and addressing discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in the workplace. The content is outlined under the assumption that a supervisor has completed the general course for Eliminating Discrimination & Harassment in the Workplace.
Understand the responsibilities and affirmative duties of a supervisor
Develop awareness to prevent and identify inappropriate behavior
Understand how to intervene when inappropriate behavior occurs
Gain tools for receiving and responding to complaints of inappropriate behavior
Understand how to manage information and team after a claim has been received
Understand the investigation process and how to best support it

Audience: Recommended for supervisors and managers in all states except California and New York
